Two pigment protocols, priced to the gram.
The Kojic Radiance Protocol and The Luma-4 Compound are our two pharmacist-built brightening formulas. Each is compounded as a 30 g jar, and the price is the sum of its actives, its base, compounding and dispensing — nothing else.
Compounded brightening formulas cannot be submitted to your insurer at the counter. You get an itemised pharmacy receipt and submit it to your extended health plan or HSA yourself, where many plans reimburse part or all of it. Keep every receipt.

Where the $75 actually goes.
Custom compounds are priced by the gram, so the maths is visible: actives at their per-gram rate, the cream base for the rest of the jar, then two flat fees.
One jar, one price
Every protocol is compounded into a 30 g jar. Three refills are authorised on the prescription and billed separately when you request them.
Filled when you request, not a subscriptionThe flat fees
Compounding is $18.50 and the dispensing fee is $11.00 per order — the same on every formula, custom or preset.
Included in the price shownAscorbic Acid, free
Ascorbic Acid 1% goes into every formula as standard. It occupies jar space but is never charged and never counts toward the active cap.

Every price on this page includes $18.50 compounding and the $11.00 dispensing fee. Prices are in Canadian dollars and reflect the pharmacy’s current cash list; they can change with ingredient costs and availability. Prescription treatment requires review by a licensed practitioner and is provided only when clinically appropriate. You are not charged for medication that is not prescribed.

Discreet deliveryKojic Acid 4%, Tranexamic Acid 1% and Ascorbic Acid 1% in our Pigment Cream Base, compounded into a 30 g jar. The price is the sum of its parts: 1.2 g of kojic at $5/g, 0.3 g of tranexamic at $10/g, 28.2 g of cream base at $1.31/g, plus $18.50 compounding and the $11.00 dispensing fee.
Luma-4 adds Hydroquinone 2% and drops tranexamic to 0.5%, alongside the same Kojic Acid 4% and Ascorbic Acid 1%. It is intended for spot treatment and larger, darker areas, and is recommended for short-term use — the Radiance protocol is the hydroquinone-free option for gentler, longer-term use. Which one is appropriate for you is a practitioner decision.
Because you are paying by the gram. Luma-4 uses slightly more active and slightly less cream base, and hydroquinone is cheaper per gram than tranexamic acid, so the two land within thirty cents of each other. The $29.50 of flat fees is identical on both.
Yes. The compound builder lets you set Kojic Acid 2–5%, Hydroquinone 1–4% and Tranexamic Acid in 0.5% steps, with the tranexamic range depending on your combined kojic and hydroquinone. Total actives are capped at 8.5%, and above 7% the Silicone Base is required, which prices at $2.50/g instead of $1.31/g. Your price updates as you build.
Refills are authorised on the prescription but billed separately when you request them, at the price of the formula at that time. The figure on this page is one 30 g jar.
No. Ascorbic Acid 1% is included in every formula as standard, free of charge. It does occupy 1% of the jar, so it slightly reduces the amount of base, and it is deliberately excluded from the active cap.
Nothing here bills you on a schedule. The repeats on your prescription are fills you request, so you decide when to order and how often — order as soon as you run low, or leave it and come back later. If you are on more than one product, each is ordered independently: you can refill one and skip the others, and you are only charged for what you actually order.
The medication prices on this page do not include the practitioner assessment. For Canadian patients with valid MSP coverage — outside Quebec — the assessment fee is waived automatically once your doctor completes the review. Patients in Quebec, those without valid MSP coverage, and patients in the USA pay a $40 private assessment fee. Whatever applies to you is shown before you pay.
